The Lone Soldier Empowerment FoundationThose who sow with tears will reap with joy.
Lone soldiers arrive in Israel highly capable but starting behind: no family nearby, limited Hebrew, and little idea how the system works. We prepare them before they draft and stand with them after they finish, so no lone soldier is left behind.
Shevet Lochamim
Train in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv
Shevet Lochamim is the program LSEF runs through two branches. Each keeps its own name, its own instructors and its own community. Both are free, and both are led by former lone soldiers who have walked the same road. Choose the branch closest to you.
Tzevet Mikey
Pre-army training twice a week: combat fitness, leadership under pressure, Hebrew, masterclasses and mentorship from instructors who have been exactly where you are.

Training, challenge and fitness are how we teach. What participants take away is Hebrew, leadership, confidence and a community that stays with them. Participants pay nothing; they pay by showing up and working hard.

They left everything behind. They shouldn't walk this alone.
The program is free for every participant and runs almost entirely on volunteers and community support. Every gift keeps training, Hebrew classes and emergency help open to the next lone soldier who needs them.
